THE MOMENTUM PROJECT RECEIVES $100,000 IN RENEWED SUPPORT FROM THE M.A.C AIDS FUND

The MAC AIDS Fund has renewed and increased its support of the Momentum Project for 2006 in the amount of $100,000 to help support Momentum’s food and nutrition services.  These services are crucial to engaging and bringing New Yorkers with HIV/AIDS from low-income populations into HIV risk-reduction and healthcare.

Long-time supporter of the Momentum Project, the M.A.C AIDS Fund was founded in 1994 by Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo, and is a leader in the fight against HIV and AIDS.  Since its inception, the Fund has raised more than $44 million to support organizations worldwide that provide daily essentials and direct care services to men, women and children affected by the global epidemic.  Just last year, the M.A.C.
