THE MOMENTUM
PROJECT RECEIVES $100,000 IN RENEWED SUPPORT FROM THE M.A.C
AIDS FUND
June 23, 2006
The MAC AIDS
Fund has renewed and increased its support of the Momentum Project for 2006 in
the amount of $100,000 to help support Momentum’s food and nutrition services.
These services are crucial to engaging and bringing New Yorkers with HIV/AIDS
from low-income populations into HIV risk-reduction and healthcare.
Long-time
supporter of the Momentum Project, the M.A.C AIDS Fund was founded in 1994 by
Frank Toskan and Frank Angelo, and is a leader in the fight against HIV and
AIDS. Since its inception, the Fund has raised more than $44 million to support
organizations worldwide that provide daily essentials and direct care services
to men, women and children affected by the global epidemic. Just last year, the
M.A.C. Fund was the recipient of
the Momentum Project’s Magic Award. For more information on the M.A.C
AIDS Fund, please visit
